To finalise content for the Handbook for Journalists on Child Rights, produced by the Press Institute of India and UNICEF, a consultative meeting was held at PII-RIND mid-June.
Participants included T.P. Sridharan, senior editor, Dinamalar; Sudha Umashankar, senior journalist; Arun Ram, assistant resident editor, The Times of India; Nandini Sridhar, storyteller and special educator; and Hema Vijay, freelance journalist. Also present were Sashi Nair, director, PII-RIND; Sugata Roy, communications specialist, UNICEF; and Pratichi Tiwari, consultant, UNICEF.
